I Hello everyone! Today I am coming to you with one of the most popular pattern of the summer, Vogue 9253.
and I must say that McCalls Pattern Company really hit the ball out of the park with this pattern. If you follow sewers on any social media platform, this is one pattern that you would have seen everywhere. After seeing everyone tackle this pattern, I decided that I would finally make it, but would take my own spin on it.
Pattern Used: I used Vogue pattern M9253.
Fabric Used: I used a printed cotton eylet cotton fabric that I purchased at Joanns Fabric.
Modifications Made: The cleavage of the pattern is very low cut, which is a little out of my comfort zone, so I shortened the cleavage. I also shortened the length of the dress to 22 inches.
Was this an easy pattern to sew?: This pattern was very easy to sew, and the instructions were very easy to follow.
Would you use this pattern again?: Yes, I definitely plan on using this pattern a lot, especially now that I have more time on my hand to sew a new wardrobe. There are so many ways to experiment with this pattern, and I plan on exploring them.
